Questions

Is there a free IB Biology, Chemistry or Economics question bank?

Yes. LimeAdmissions has 506 exam-style questions for IB Biology (207), Chemistry (197) and Economics (102), sorted by syllabus topic, each with a mark scheme or markbands and a model answer. They are free: type your email once and every question opens.

Are these real IB past paper questions?

Each question is built on a question the IB has set. The Biology and Chemistry questions are original, with new contexts and invented data, in the style of the papers set since the 2025 syllabus. The Economics questions follow the Paper 1, 2 and 3 questions set since 2022, in the same formats and with the same markbands. The International Baccalaureate has not endorsed them.

Do the questions come with mark schemes?

Yes. Multiple choice is checked as you answer. Written answers come with the mark points to tick, the way an examiner marks, and essays and data responses with the markbands. Every question has a model answer and the reasoning behind it.

Which syllabus do the questions follow?

Biology and Chemistry follow the syllabus first examined in May 2025. Economics follows the syllabus first examined in May 2022. Topics carry the subject guide's own codes, such as A1.1, R2.2 or 2.11.

Can I track my progress?

Scores save topic by topic in your browser. A free account, signed in with a code by email, keeps them on every device.

Every Biology and Chemistry question here is original, written for practice in the style of the papers set since the 2025 syllabus, with invented data. The Economics questions follow the Paper 1, 2 and 3 questions set since 2022, question by question, in the same formats and with the same demands and markbands. Developed independently from the International Baccalaureate Organization, which has not endorsed it. Found a mistake? Email vytis@limeadmissions.com with the question id.
