What is collected
From the free call form: your email address and, if you choose to fill it in, one line about what you are applying for.
From the contact form: your email address, which system you are applying to, and your message.
From an order: your email address, optionally a parent or guardian's email address, which system you are applying to, your application deadline, any document or notes you send, and a record of the confirmations you tick, with their date and time.
From a tutoring booking: the student's email address, the name and email address of whoever is paying, the subject, level and hours, your notes, and a record of the confirmation you tick. Stripe issues the invoice and receives the payer's name and email address and the amount.
From the free IB resources sign-up: your email address, and the advertising campaign in the link you followed if there was one. It goes to MailerLite (below), which sends you a confirmation email and then the page of links, and keeps you on that list for the occasional note on IB exam technique and what we offer until you unsubscribe, which is one click in any message. We do not store the address anywhere else.
From the session review form: your email address, your rating, your review, the session it was about, and the name you typed if you typed one. The review goes to our inbox in Notion (below). The address also goes to MailerLite, which sends you a confirmation email; confirm it and you are on the same list as the free IB resources sign-up, with the same one-click unsubscribe.
If you tick the optional box on the free call form: a record that you asked for occasional email about deadlines and about what we offer, with the date, the time, and the wording you agreed to. The box is never pre-ticked, and nothing else on this site puts you on that list.
Advertising measurement. We advertise on Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Reddit, and this site loads their measurement tags so we can tell which adverts lead to an enquiry. None of that loads until you accept the cookie banner. If you reject it, or ignore it, no advertising cookie is set and nothing is read from your device. Google is told only that a conversion happened, without cookies and without anything identifying you. See Cookies below.
Separately, if an advert brought you here, the campaign name from the address bar may be recorded with your enquiry so we know which advert worked. That part sets no cookie, stores nothing, and does not identify you: it happens only at the moment you submit a form.
Reviews. If you leave a review and tick the box that allows it, we publish the name you chose, your rating, your text, the piece it was about and the month, and nothing else. Every review from the session review form is published the same way, under the name you typed or as "IB student". Ratings from reviews kept private under the earlier version of that form still count toward the average rating we show. Ask us at any time and we take it down.
Sensitive information in personal statements
A personal statement or motivation letter often discloses information that data protection law treats as a special category, for example health, disability, religion or ethnic origin. This is why the order forms ask you to confirm, separately and explicitly, that you consent to your document being processed so that feedback can be given on it.
That consent is the legal basis for handling any such information, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, at which point the document is deleted. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out. Please do not include information of this kind unless it is genuinely relevant to your application.
Why it is collected
Your email address is used to reply to you, to send you the link for booking a call, and to send your order confirmation, payment link and cancellation information. If you ticked the optional box it is also used to send you occasional email about deadlines and about what we offer; if you did not, it is not. Your documents are used to provide the service you asked for. Records of orders and the confirmations you tick are kept because tax and consumer law require it.
Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing. Nothing you send is published, as an example, a testimonial or anything else.
Legal basis
Free call bookings and contact submissions: your consent. Orders: performance of a contract with you. Reviews: your consent, the tick on the order review form; for the session review form, our legitimate interest in showing what students thought of our free sessions, and if you object we take your review down. Any special-category information inside a document: your explicit consent. Marketing email, if you ticked the box: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Accounting records: a legal obligation.
How long it is kept
Free call submissions are deleted within 90 days. If you ticked the marketing box, your email address stays on that list until you unsubscribe, which is one click in any of those emails, and the record of when you consented is kept for a year afterwards as evidence that you asked for it. Client documents are kept until the end of the application cycle they relate to, then deleted. A copy of each submission, including any file you upload, is written to a server log as a safeguard against email failure and is deleted within 90 days. Invoices and the records tax law requires are kept for ten years.
If you would like anything deleted sooner, ask and it will be done.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request a copy of the data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Email vytis@limeadmissions.com and it will be actioned within 30 days.
You may also complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija) or to the supervisory authority in your own country.
Processors
Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, Dublin, Ireland) processes payments and receives the information necessary to take the payment: the amount, your order reference and what you enter on its payment page. LimeAdmissions never receives your card details.
Hostinger hosts this website and the email service, and therefore stores messages sent to and from it.
Notion is used to track enquiries and orders, and receives the details you submit.
Cal.com runs the booking calendar for the free call, both on its own page and where it is embedded in ours. If you book, it receives the name and email you type into it and sends you the calendar invitation. Loading the embedded calendar contacts Cal.com's servers, which means your IP address reaches them; that only happens on the booking page, after you have asked for a call.
MailerLite (MailerLite Limited, Dublin, Ireland, with servers in the EU) holds the list for the free IB resources and the practice questions, and sends its emails. Your address reaches it from our server when you sign up; no MailerLite script runs in your browser on this site.
Google Fonts serves the typeface used on this site.
Google (Google Ireland Limited) provides the advertising measurement described above, and receives data from this site only if you accept the cookie banner. Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) measures our Facebook and Instagram advertising, and likewise receives nothing unless you accept. Same transfer basis.
Reddit (Reddit Netherlands B.V. if you are in the EEA, Reddit, Inc. in the UK) measures our Reddit advertising. Its tag runs only on the English pages of this site, and unlike the two above it is not loaded onto the page at all unless you accept. Reddit, Inc. is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Cookies
Two small values sit on your device whatever you choose, because remembering
your choice is their entire purpose: la_lang, written only if you use the language bar at
the top of the page, and la_consent, which records your answer to the cookie banner so you
are not asked again on every page. Neither identifies you.
If you accept, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Reddit set advertising cookies. They are used to connect an enquiry or an order back to the advert that brought you here, and to measure how the campaigns perform. The legal basis is your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, and §25(1) TDDDG for the storage itself.
If you reject, no advertising cookie is set and nothing is read from your device.
Withdrawing is as easy as consenting, and takes effect immediately:
The practice questions. When you open them with your email, the site
sets la_practice, a cookie that keeps the questions open for you for up to 400 days, so you
never sign up twice. It holds a signed code and no email address. It is strictly necessary for the
service you asked for, so it needs no consent. Signing up for the free IB resources sets it too. A copy
of the code, your answers, your scores and your drafts sit in your browser's local storage and never
leave your device; clearing this site's data removes them.
Video solutions on those pages come from YouTube, Vimeo or Loom. Nothing loads from them until you press play on a video, and from then on that service's own privacy policy covers the video.
Your account
If you create an account at /account/, our own server keeps your email address, when the account was made and last used, and your practice progress: which questions you answered, what you typed, the mark points you ticked and your scores. It is there to show you your progress on any device where you sign in, and nobody else sees it. The legal basis is the service you ask us for, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Signing in sends a six-digit code and a link to your address. The code is stored only as a
fingerprint and stops working after 15 minutes. A record of each sign-in, with the address and the time, is
kept for 90 days for security. The la_account cookie keeps you signed in for up to 400 days;
it is strictly necessary for the service you asked for, so it needs no consent, and a copy of it sits in
your browser's local storage in case the cookie is lost.
Delete the account from the account page whenever you like: the account and the progress saved to it go at once. Accounts nobody has used for two years are deleted. A new account also joins our email list (MailerLite, below); leaving the list keeps your account, and deleting the account leaves the list to the unsubscribe link in any of our emails.
Counting steps
To see where a page loses people, the English pages of this site count steps. When a page opens, a button is pressed or a form is started, and when a few seconds pass or you scroll past a quarter, half or most of a page, one is added to that day's total for the step, grouped by the advertising campaign in the link you followed. A total holds no IP address, no cookie and no identifier, and nothing is stored on your device for it, so it cannot be linked to you. The totals stay on our own server and go to nobody else.
