Frequently asked questions
How do I know the work is any good?
Test it before you pay.
Book a free twenty-minute call. Twenty minutes on your list and your draft tells you more than any quote would. You can also read an answer edited start to finish, with the reasoning at every change, and the statement that got offers from Imperial and UCL.
We ask every client for a review once their work is returned, and you can leave one here. We publish them as written.
Who are you?
A small team that came through the current UCAS and Studielink cycle. Who we are, with the founder's record, is on the about page.
Do you use AI?
Every word of your feedback is written by us, after reading your work ourselves. AI is used in some research, such as building deadline tables, and every fact found that way is checked against the primary source before it reaches you. The full policy is here.
Why is the strategy session separate from the editing?
Because for most applicants it is the more valuable half, and a lot of people do not need the other half at all.
An EU applicant can apply in six systems at once: five UCAS choices on one form, four programmes on Studielink, and their own caps in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Ireland. Only a few of those need substantive writing: most Dutch bachelor's programmes ask for no motivation letter, and Sweden, Finland and Ireland decide on grades. Knowing which ones do, and in what ranked order, is what the session is for.
What is a revision round?
One draft submitted, one edited version returned.
Questions do not use up a round. Ask as many as you like. The $399 tier includes two rounds. The $990 full portfolio includes the rounds needed for every document across its nine applications. Rounds expire at your own application deadline.
How fast do you turn work around?
Five business days, counted from when your payment lands. We confirm by email the moment it does, so you always know when the clock started.
If your deadline is sooner than that, say so on the form and we will tell you the same day whether we can make it.
Do you write the statement for me?
We edit what you have written and explain every change, so the statement stays yours and you can apply the same thinking yourself. Admissions tutors are good at spotting statements a student did not write, and if you are interviewed you will be asked about it.
How do I actually send my work?
Through the form, before you pay. Pick your package, send your details, and the next page takes the payment. The same link is emailed to you, so closing the tab costs you nothing.
It runs in that order so that a failed or abandoned payment never leaves us with money and no idea whose it is. Your details come first, and the payment is tied to your order reference.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. If you buy the strategy session or the statement and later want the full portfolio, email us and we will take what you have already paid off the price, provided a place is still open.
Do you offer refunds?
You have a statutory 14-day right to cancel. Work usually starts straight away, which is what you ask for on the order form. If you cancel partway through you pay for the proportion already delivered, and the right ends once the service has been fully performed.
Beyond that: if we have not started, a full refund, no argument. If your deadline passes because we missed our own turnaround, that is our failure and you get your money back.
Do you guarantee I will get in?
Universities decide on grades, competition and their own criteria. What we control is the list you apply with and the documents you send, and each tier says in writing what it covers.
Which countries and universities do you cover?
UK universities through UCAS, and English-taught programmes in the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Ireland. US admissions is a different process and outside what we cover.
What does this cost next to everyone else?
The comparison page lists nine providers, what each one covers and what it charges, including the options that cost nothing.
